Inspired

I was totally sucked into this painting.  There are times I can easily put down the brush and go to bed....not with this painting. I absolutely love color, summer, flowers...this painting had it all. The vibrancy of the colors are a bit entrancing.

I was inspired to paint this when my son surprised me with a bouquet of sunflowers he picked locally (...with the growers permission).  I believe the colors capture the emotion of such a pleasant surprise!

The acrylic on canvas painting measures 20 x 20 inches. The finished size is larger as the handmade wooden frame (2 inch)  further highlights the colors and grains of the painting.  The price is higher on this painting...I'm debating whether I can part with it.
